5.  Reputation
To gage the quality of the event marketing company you are interviewing for your brands next activation make sure you are able to obtain a good idea of the clients the company has serviced in the past.   Never relay on just a website these days, instead go by the facts.  How long has the company been in business and what have they produced in the past for their clients.

4.  Experience

When producing events and marketing campaigns in the New York and NYC area make sure the company you choose has experience working within in the marketplace.  Having a company that is familiar with the dynamics of NYC will help make for a seamless activation.

3.  Creativity

One of the most important factors on both an event and marketing level.  How does your potential event marketing company stand out from the rest.  What can this company create that someone else can’t and how will it excite and inspire your audience at your next event.

2. Leadership

Execution at your event, get to know your team ahead of time.  Who will be the account representatives responsible for onsite coordination at your event.  This is a very important part of the event process as planning and execution at an event are two very different things.  With the right team, you will not have more time to focus on the event and not the details that go into pulling an event together!

Tommy Hilfiger Summer Outing

On August 1, 2013 Tommy Hilfiger hosted its annual summer event at the Liberty House in Jersey City.  This year’s event was a little different then years past due to the inclement weather moving the crowd inside.  In order to prepare for the change in dynamics for the event MMEink created a interactive gaming arena inside the venue.  Creating the right interaction was an important task to achieve as in years past the event was predominantly based outside offering a variety of sporting activities to choose from.   

Due to the weather the event was hosted inside the venue this year.  A variety of stand up arcade games ranging from vintage classics like Ms. Pac Man and Golden Tee Golf to table games were brought in to the venue.  The interactive gaming and arcade games created a special interaction between employees adding instant fun to the event.  This accompanied with our very DJ spinning a combination of Rock, R&B, 80’s and Top 40 keep the crowd engaged all afternoon.

On May 14, MMEink and Standard Chartered teamed up to produce the 2013 Standard Chartered Forum hosted at New York city’s prestigious Plaza Hotel.  The event was  one of three events held by the brand bringing the conference to North America.  Previously the conference was held in both London and Singapore.

MMEink delivered a combination of production and creative services for the New York event which took place on two floors in the Plaza Hotel.  MMEink’s production services entailed developing a branding break room which was used to house attendees for intermissions at the conference.  The room consisted of custom furniture and branded decor made specially to match company pantone colors.  This signature experience allowed guest to relax in the branded space while networking with colleagues.

Creating an experience that would add to the lunch service for the event was a fun task which allowed the MMEink design team to provide a few creative solutions for Standard Charter.  In the end the team came up with a design which would transform the Terrace Room at the Plaza into an outdoor cafe.  This was a challenging task that was achieved through the use of props and decor.  The MMEink design team brought in 100 feet of 6ft box hedge which was branded to soften up the ornate space.  Broad iron bistro tables accented with branded company color umbrellas were used to create the right look for the seating for the space.  The use of old fashion street lamps and park benches were used to create the feeling as if you were dinning in a park environment.  Finally the use of old fashion vendor carts were used for the refreshment service for the event.

Finally the MMEink team was utilized to create the stage for the conference.  Our design team created a modern stage plot which was carpeted and accented with  modern white chairs and tables.   Overall the event was a huge success demonstrating MMEinks ability to work with a global company executing a variety of production services.

Samsung Partners with MMEink For Its Spring Launch

On Wednesday March 20, 2013 Samsung hosted an unbelievable event in lower Manhattan at Wall Street’s best kept secret The Museum of American Finance.  This incredible event was center around Samsungs new 84 inch’ Smart TV which included a star studded  lineup of celebrity talent.  Celebrity partners included a NY Giant Eli Manning, Sports Illustrated Swim Suit model Kate Upton, and finally pop sensation Flo Rida.

The brands special partners were all introduced in 3 different sets which were created on a huge rotating custom built 24 foot turn style stage. Each set was built to replicated a living room which was specific to each celebrity partner.  Once introduced they explained their experience with the product while giving a short demonstration of unique features the Smart TV offers its users.

Proving to be just as impressive as Samsungs new innovation was the amount of event production services that were utilized to transform the museum space for the premier event.

MMEink was utilized to provide full event production and event management services for the event.  Posing to be one of the biggest challenges to the team was the obstacle of time.  With  finally receiving the go ahead late Friday evening 72 hours before a schedule load in time the MMEink team was left to do what they do best, and that’s turn around event production in record time.  Immediately upon receiving the go ahead the team began to prep the gear and begin fabrication on the huge 24ft rotating stage which was a top priority for the brand.

The massive three day set up for the event began on Monday March 17th, in which the Museum of America Finance began its makeover for the Samsung spring launch party.  In order to set the space up for the large amount of gear and electronics that were going to be present a large generator was brought in and parked outside the museum on William.  Once the cabling and power was secure the event team began to bring in and setup its event services.  This event utilized a combination of full production services ranging from display pieces, intelligent and LED lighting, video production, sound production, staging  and decor.   For more information about event management and production services visit www.mmeink.com

Tiffany & Co. and the Associates Committee host the The Society of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center's 22nd Annual Bunny Hop

For 21 years, The Society’s Associates Committee has hosted the much-anticipated Bunny Hop, which marks the official start to the arrival of spring. The 22nd Annual Bunny Hop took place on Tuesday, March 5th, 2013 once again at the legendary FAO Schwarz in New York City. The highly anticipated event proceeds are donated to the Pediatric Family Housing Endowment. These funds help provide accommodations for children and their families who are receiving treatment at Memorial Sloan- Kettering’s Pediatrics department.

MMEink has had the distinct honor of providing musical entertainment and event services for this great cause for the last 7 years. Our energetic musical team composed of a Master of Ceremonies, a Disc Jockey and motivational dancers helped to  transform a portion of the space at FAO into a mini disco for the kids. Our DJ created a fun vibe spinning the newest pop hits mixed in with classic songs from great artists like the Beatles, Four Tops and Earth Wind and Fire.

Finally adding to the event excitement, MMEink’s very own custom made vintage photo booth provided a fun and interactive way to capture all the great event memories.  A huge hit every year, guests enjoy a special photo opportunity with a classic photo experience in which they receive branded photos selecting from black & white, color, or vintage photo filters.

Slam Dunk For Adidas at Footlockers National Conference

adidas-foot-locker-conference-15MMEink, Action Marketing and Adidas teamed up to create an awesome experience for Footlockers National Mangers Conference held in Orlando Florida on February 25, 2013.  With less than a 48 hour window to produce the event MMEink’s team had its work cut for them.

Perhaps one of MMEink’s biggest assets to its clients is its ability to produce events internally giving us the ability to turnaround  full event production services with little lead time.

Creating a fun brand endorsed experience was the goal at hand for MMEink and its partners for the last night of the conference sponsored by Adidas.  In order to create the experience the MME team need to convert and empty Pavilion into a custom branded basketball arena which offered more than just basketball fun for the 300 guest who attended the event.  In order to do this a combination of interactive games and services were used to generate excitement on multiple levels.

The event started with a informal dinner on the west side of the Pavilion which was fairly low key.  Once dinner was over the guest were invited over to the east side of the event space by our Master of Ceremonies and the event was officially kicked off.  Our DJ set the tone for the festivities by creating a urban vibe spinning the newest hip hop tracks mixed in with some 90’s classics catering to middle aged crowd.  Guest were invited to step on to our basketball court and try their luck at some of the contests going on.  The court was divided into two sides, one side hosted a three point competitions which gave each contestant 45 seconds to shoot as many 16 three point shots from around the key.  The second competition was a game of knock out. Each winner won a Adidas gift certificate ranging anywhere from $50 to $100 per contest.adidas-foot-locker-conference-18

The event space was created using a combination of branded furniture and lounge seating.  We even provided a custom bar for all the guest who need a quick water break from all the fun.  If basketball isn’t your thing don’t worry, the interactive game corner allowed all our non basket ball players to interact and partake in a fun dance competition along with a football challenge.  A special photo opportunity was even provide by the Adidas custom photo booth for the event.  Guest where able to take fun branded photos and share them in real time with social networks.  Finally guests were provided with the perfect take home keepsake from our custom sock making station.  This was a huge hit!  Guest were able to choose from multiple designs and create their very own custom Adidas socks at the event.

Rolling Rock beer established in 1939 is a brand that has provided America with a great tasting extra pale beer for over 70 years.  This legendary beer has created a following of loyal beer drinking fans who  have helped the brand transcend into the 21st century.

Rolling Rock beer has launched a new campaign which calls upon its fan base young and old to participate in a unique brand experience called #doingourthing.  This experience calls upon consumers to interact with the micro site www.doingourthing.com to allow for uploading of pictures.  Show the brand your favorite picture or a example of you  “doing your thing” and enter for a chance to be featured in a new branded campaign for Rolling Rock.   The site has direct integration with Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram making it a social experience as well.

Creating awareness for this micro site and providing the right interaction between consumer and brand was necessary to insure the success of the activation.  This was achieved through the deployment of three custom developed media booths by MMEink into the Boston, Chicago, and Seattle market.    Operating off one of the world’s oldest and most famous photo taking experiences the “photo booth” MMEink has recreated the wheel for Rolling Rock.

Complete with exterior branding, 15inch flat screen display, super imposed backgrounds, real time integration with social networks, and delivery of pictures via the internet the old photo booth experience of the past was just reinvented for Rolling Rock.  This unique experience custom tailored for the Rolling Rock brand allowed consumers to interact with the media booth giving them an opportunity to choose custom backgrounds and send their favorite picture to the micro site www.doingourthing.com  This experience created instant awareness for the brand driving consumers to the micro site to view their favorite photo.

Using our custom touch surface interface we provided guests with a special opportunity to make requests to our DJ live at the event. This unique experience created instant excitement allowing all guests the opportunity to have a say in the musical selection of songs throughout the course of the evening.

AT&T Unwrapped comes to NYC October 4, 2012 at the Rivington Hotel!

AT&T unwrapped comes to NYC tonight October 4, 2012 at the Rivington Hotel in downtown Manhattan.  This trending hotel will host the AT&T Unwrapped event and will mark the release  of this seasons must have devices and gadgets.

MMEink will be providing full event production services that include:  creative branding, kiosk displays, lounge and floral decor, and interactive touch screen services.

AT&T will be utilizing MMEink’s large touch screen panels to introduce their newest technology showcasing their commitment  to putting an end to texting while driving.  “No text on board” and its pledge will be introduced to guests at the event allowing them the opportunity to take the pledge and share that pledge via Facebook with the world.

Some of the many other devices being released and demoed include AT&T’s Ibolt, a neat and cool mount that allows its users to mount their AT&T phones and devices to a number of hard to attach to surfaces.  The IGrill  is yet another  cool device that hooks into your blue tooth connection turning your Iphone, IPad, or IPod Touch into the first ever grilling and cooking thermometer allowing you to spend more time entertaining and less time having to watch the grill.  These are some of the many new innovations being shown tonight at the Rivington Hotel in lower Manhattan.

Barack Obama Joins Jay-Z and Beyoncé for Fundraiser at 40/40 Club… MMEink set the stage.

MMEink is privileged to have had the distinct honor of being the chosen production company to provide the event services for the exclusive fundraiser held for President Obama. This high profile event was hosted at the 40/40 club by Jay-Z and Beyoncé last week.  MMEink provided a wide range of event services for the special evening.

Our event team helped design both the interior and exterior of the 40/40 club adding just the right ambiance to the space for the special affair. A meet and greet area for President Obama was created within the club to provided a unique opportunity for guests to meet the President providing the perfect photo opportunity.

MMEink is no stranger to providing event services for the 40/40 club. MMEink has provided a variety of event services for the 40/40 Club this year including its grand opening back in early January.

MMEink will be once again be working with the 40/40 Club team this week for the launch of the highly anticipated basketball video game NBA2K13 on September 27, 2011. Tonight, September 28, 20111 MMEink will be opening the brand new 40/40 Club with the team in the state of the art Barclays Center located in Brooklyn, New York.
