Tiffany & Co. and the Associates Committee host the The Society of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center's 22nd Annual Bunny Hop

For 21 years, The Society’s Associates Committee has hosted the much-anticipated Bunny Hop, which marks the official start to the arrival of spring. The 22nd Annual Bunny Hop took place on Tuesday, March 5th, 2013 once again at the legendary FAO Schwarz in New York City. The highly anticipated event proceeds are donated to the Pediatric Family Housing Endowment. These funds help provide accommodations for children and their families who are receiving treatment at Memorial Sloan- Kettering’s Pediatrics department.

MMEink has had the distinct honor of providing musical entertainment and event services for this great cause for the last 7 years. Our energetic musical team composed of a Master of Ceremonies, a Disc Jockey and motivational dancers helped to  transform a portion of the space at FAO into a mini disco for the kids. Our DJ created a fun vibe spinning the newest pop hits mixed in with classic songs from great artists like the Beatles, Four Tops and Earth Wind and Fire.

Finally adding to the event excitement, MMEink’s very own custom made vintage photo booth provided a fun and interactive way to capture all the great event memories.  A huge hit every year, guests enjoy a special photo opportunity with a classic photo experience in which they receive branded photos selecting from black & white, color, or vintage photo filters.

Slam Dunk For Adidas at Footlockers National Conference

adidas-foot-locker-conference-15MMEink, Action Marketing and Adidas teamed up to create an awesome experience for Footlockers National Mangers Conference held in Orlando Florida on February 25, 2013.  With less than a 48 hour window to produce the event MMEink’s team had its work cut for them.

Perhaps one of MMEink’s biggest assets to its clients is its ability to produce events internally giving us the ability to turnaround  full event production services with little lead time.

Creating a fun brand endorsed experience was the goal at hand for MMEink and its partners for the last night of the conference sponsored by Adidas.  In order to create the experience the MME team need to convert and empty Pavilion into a custom branded basketball arena which offered more than just basketball fun for the 300 guest who attended the event.  In order to do this a combination of interactive games and services were used to generate excitement on multiple levels.

The event started with a informal dinner on the west side of the Pavilion which was fairly low key.  Once dinner was over the guest were invited over to the east side of the event space by our Master of Ceremonies and the event was officially kicked off.  Our DJ set the tone for the festivities by creating a urban vibe spinning the newest hip hop tracks mixed in with some 90’s classics catering to middle aged crowd.  Guest were invited to step on to our basketball court and try their luck at some of the contests going on.  The court was divided into two sides, one side hosted a three point competitions which gave each contestant 45 seconds to shoot as many 16 three point shots from around the key.  The second competition was a game of knock out. Each winner won a Adidas gift certificate ranging anywhere from $50 to $100 per contest.adidas-foot-locker-conference-18

The event space was created using a combination of branded furniture and lounge seating.  We even provided a custom bar for all the guest who need a quick water break from all the fun.  If basketball isn’t your thing don’t worry, the interactive game corner allowed all our non basket ball players to interact and partake in a fun dance competition along with a football challenge.  A special photo opportunity was even provide by the Adidas custom photo booth for the event.  Guest where able to take fun branded photos and share them in real time with social networks.  Finally guests were provided with the perfect take home keepsake from our custom sock making station.  This was a huge hit!  Guest were able to choose from multiple designs and create their very own custom Adidas socks at the event.

buddy-media-10MMEink created a special experience for Salesforce at its acquisition party hosted at Chelsea Piers in Manhattan New York.   The event was held to celebrate the merging of Buddy Media to the Sales Force team.  Once guest arrived at the Chelsea Piers Complex they entered Pier 60 in the early evening to attend the pre party seminar.  Michael Lazerow co-founder of Buddy Media kicked off the conference with a welcoming speech followed by a introduction of Sales Forces CEO Marc Benioff.  Marc Benioff wrapped up the conference a hour later with a personal invitation for his guest to join him inside the reception area for the official party for the evening.

MMEink was handed the responsibility of  transforming the raw space into a modern chic environment providing a engaging experience for all the employees in attendance.  The MMEink creative team established a lounge like setting designed to encourage movement of employees throughout the event.  Establishing an atmosphere which fosters active conversation amongst coworkers with each other was a  key factor in the planning process.  The lounge seating was complimented with super cool high tech touch tables tying in to the merging of two software based companies.

The addition of  touch surface tables at the event created a engaging experience for guests to partake in.  The custom branded software experience provided employees with a opportunity to check in to Facebook, launch a custom photo booth app and share  pictures in real time via Twitter & Facebook.  One unique feature of the table allowed guests to send their request to the DJ in real time.  This created an instant excitement allowing all guests the opportunity to have a say in their musical selection of songs throughout the course of the evening.

setupMMEInk also supplied one of its great DJ’s for the event.  Playing off  both the playlist generated by the touch tables and reading the crowd allowed the dance party to continue into an extra hour of overtime.  A constant mix of top 40 music, 90 hits and 80’s classics were mixed seamlessly  throughout the course of the night.

The addition of  MMEink’s exclusive Photomation photo booth to the event proved to be a huge hit!  The media booths completely branded experience from exterior to interior provided a fun and interactive experience for all guests.  The delivery of all the photos via email and social networks generated a huge buzz for the event.  The event photos were even displayed around the room on large video displays.

IMG_1454Stella McCartney’s Soho location located on Green Street in lower Manhattan wanted some help introducing this year’s spring fashion with its amazing retro chic window display. The MME design team worked with the Stella McCartney’s visual team to create a very special display for the store. The retro inspired widow once finished contained multiple shinny disco balls and two mannequins with custom disco ball heads.

Stella McCartney’s unique window display was a perfect fit for the newly established Soho store. The store located at 112 Greene Street is located in the heart of a tourist filled area where shopping is the main focus. The MME team looks forward to sharing its creativity once again with the Stella McCartney team as it is scheduled to work with the brand nationally. Google Holiday Event & MMEink. A Smashing Success.

(Thursday ,December 13, 2012)  MMEink produces a smashing holiday event for Google’s Sales team at Cipriani’s 55 Wall Street location.

MMEink delivered a combination of event services for Google at this year’s holiday event making it a huge success for all 1,000 attendees.  Guest were able to relax in sheik lounges on both the upper mezzanine and lower level of the space.  The lounge areas contained touch cocktail tables which added a special interaction for guests.  These super cool surfaces allowed for a engaging experience in which guest could request songs in real time to the DJ, take pictures and share them, and view the best of “Google Doodles”.

MMEinks very own DJ  served up the fresh beats all night long.  The style and eclectic music selection for the evening took Google on a musical journey.  The vibe included a wide range of music, from Top 40 hits, to Classic Rock and Disco and everything in between.  The dance floor was packed all night long extending the party for another half hour.  The MMEink team of foot masseuses provided a little quick pampering for a rejuvenating experience for  the guests who need a break from all the excitement.

A great addition to the event was the  two custom Google photo booths that allowed for a special experience for Google employees.  Guests were able to choose backgrounds and receive their picture via email and print at the party.   All the pictures were then displayed on the booths 15 inch exterior screen creating a slide show of all the fun and wild pictures taken during the evening.

As the holiday party started to wind down guests made their way to an old fashion news stand set up near the exit at Cipriani.  Making for the perfect late night snack and a fitting end to a New York event, guests were served large hot pretzels and waters for their journey home.

Rolling Rock beer established in 1939 is a brand that has provided America with a great tasting extra pale beer for over 70 years.  This legendary beer has created a following of loyal beer drinking fans who  have helped the brand transcend into the 21st century.

Rolling Rock beer has launched a new campaign which calls upon its fan base young and old to participate in a unique brand experience called #doingourthing.  This experience calls upon consumers to interact with the micro site www.doingourthing.com to allow for uploading of pictures.  Show the brand your favorite picture or a example of you  “doing your thing” and enter for a chance to be featured in a new branded campaign for Rolling Rock.   The site has direct integration with Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram making it a social experience as well.

Creating awareness for this micro site and providing the right interaction between consumer and brand was necessary to insure the success of the activation.  This was achieved through the deployment of three custom developed media booths by MMEink into the Boston, Chicago, and Seattle market.    Operating off one of the world’s oldest and most famous photo taking experiences the “photo booth” MMEink has recreated the wheel for Rolling Rock.

Complete with exterior branding, 15inch flat screen display, super imposed backgrounds, real time integration with social networks, and delivery of pictures via the internet the old photo booth experience of the past was just reinvented for Rolling Rock.  This unique experience custom tailored for the Rolling Rock brand allowed consumers to interact with the media booth giving them an opportunity to choose custom backgrounds and send their favorite picture to the micro site www.doingourthing.com  This experience created instant awareness for the brand driving consumers to the micro site to view their favorite photo.

As part of ongoing efforts to reach out to younger consumers while also maintaining strong relationships with existing older customers, Sweet’N Low and AOR Kellen Communications partnered with producers of the Broadway musical comedy Nice Work If You Can Get It.

“It was a nice fit to embrace young and current consumers because the show’s demographic is 65% female, ages 25 to 55,” says Sweet’N Low brand manager Monica Oliva. “And one of the show’s songs, ‘Sweet and Lowdown,’ fit perfectly.”

A press release announcing the campaign was sent to traditional media outlets and bloggers covering theater on September 20. Bloggers covering giveaways were also targeted.

The random drawing sweepstakes ran September 20 to December 15 on www.sweetnlowpromotions.com and was promoted on Sweet’N Low’s Facebook page. Entrants provided their name, email, and phone number for the chance to win the grand prize of two VIP tickets to the musical that included meeting the stars backstage, two plane tickets, two nights in a hotel, and various Sweet’N Low souvenirs.

The campaign was promoted regularly on the musical’s Facebook page and in a September e-newsletter.

Message-trained street teams handed out co-branded Sweet’N Low packets and flyers at New York City’s Food and Wine Festival on October 12 and at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 22, where the musical’s cast members performed. One packet with a gold star was handed out during each event, and the recipients each won two show tickets.

Facebook posts promoted the street teams’ location and the chance to win show tickets from them.

AT&T unwrapped comes to NYC tonight October 4, 2012 at the Rivington Hotel in downtown Manhattan.  This trending hotel will host the AT&T Unwrapped event and will mark the release  of this seasons must have devices and gadgets.

MMEink will be providing full event production services that include:  creative branding, kiosk displays, lounge and floral decor, and interactive touch screen services.

AT&T will be utilizing MMEink’s large touch screen panels to introduce their newest technology showcasing their commitment  to putting an end to texting while driving.  “No text on board” and its pledge will be introduced to guests at the event allowing them the opportunity to take the pledge and share that pledge via Facebook with the world.

Some of the many other devices being released and demoed include AT&T’s Ibolt, a neat and cool mount that allows its users to mount their AT&T phones and devices to a number of hard to attach to surfaces.  The IGrill  is yet another  cool device that hooks into your blue tooth connection turning your Iphone, IPad, or IPod Touch into the first ever grilling and cooking thermometer allowing you to spend more time entertaining and less time having to watch the grill.  These are some of the many new innovations being shown tonight at the Rivington Hotel in lower Manhattan.

MMEink is privileged to have had the distinct honor of being the chosen production company to provide the event services for the exclusive fundraiser held for President Obama. This high profile event was hosted at the 40/40 club by Jay-Z and Beyoncé last week.  MMEink provided a wide range of event services for the special evening.

Our event team helped design both the interior and exterior of the 40/40 club adding just the right ambiance to the space for the special affair. A meet and greet area for President Obama was created within the club to provided a unique opportunity for guests to meet the President providing the perfect photo opportunity.

MMEink is no stranger to providing event services for the 40/40 club. MMEink has provided a variety of event services for the 40/40 Club this year including its grand opening back in early January.

MMEink will be once again be working with the 40/40 Club team this week for the launch of the highly anticipated basketball video game NBA2K13 on September 27, 2011. Tonight, September 28, 20111 MMEink will be opening the brand new 40/40 Club with the team in the state of the art Barclays Center located in Brooklyn, New York.
