On June 25th, the James Beard Foundation and MMEink hosted the second ever Women in Culinary Leadership All-Star Dinner & Panel Discussion at the Indian-Latin cultured Vermilion in New York City. The evening featured a four-course Indian-Latin fusion dinner and several discussions about how the culinary industry world can better support and encourage the advancement of women within the culinary industry. Moderated by Food & Wine’s Editor-in-Chief Dana Cowin, the evening featured thought-provoking conversations and commentary from industry luminaries such as Kristen Kish, Gail Simmons, Michael White, Rohini Dey, and James Beard Foundation, president, Susan Ungaro. MMEink was honored to be apart of this influential and progressive event for the culinary industry, along with the James Beard Foundation and the Vermilion.
